Vibrational Frequency: What is it exactly?

In my last blog post, I talked about how knowing your spirit guide's name is not important because you connect with your guides through their individual energy frequency (also called their energy signature) rather than by calling them by the right name. Today, I'll be discussing where vibrational frequency fits into all this.

Many of you have heard these terms being thrown around a lot in the metaphysical and spiritual communities. It can be quite confusing when you are trying to figure things out. I asked the Spirit Guide Realm if they could clearly explain to us how vibrational frequency relates to a person's energy frequency so we can understand the difference. Here's what they had to say:

Vibration is the quality of the frequency. Vibration says how much you are aligned with your true self. Vibration can rise and fall depending on how you feel and the choices you make in life; how you choose to live and be in the present moment. As you move closer to your true self, your vibration gets clearer, or as you like to say, ‘goes higher.’ Faster. Earth is on a low vibrational plane. That is why it takes such effort to raise your own vibration and also why it is hard to see higher vibrational levels of existence and beings around you, but they are there.
— The Spirit Guide Realm

Just like with people, multidimensional beings (like spirit guides) can hold different vibrational frequencies.

Their specific energy frequency (or energy signature) stays the same. But at what level they vibrate at is also unique to them. Just like us, guides can vibrate lower or higher. Both lower and higher vibrational spirit guides exist along a very wide spectrum.

For example, say someone has a dragon spirit guide (yes, dragons can be guides!) who is really earthy, loves fire, and is super powerful. His vibration is lower because he resides in a dimension that is closer to ours. This dragon will energetically feel grounded and earthy, and will vibrate slower but steady. To put this in our terms, this dragon would be considered a "salt of the Earth" type of guide. Many shamans have these types of guides to help them navigate the lower realms.

Another person could have a super high vibrational dragon guide who is intense, shines brightly, and shares galactic knowledge. Her vibration is higher because she resides on a higher dimensional plane.

Just like with humans, a guide's vibrational frequency can get higher.

So, a lower vibrational spirit guide (like the fire dragon mentioned above) can become a high vibrational guide (like the galactic dragon) if that is what they choose and is aligned with their soul's path.

Okay, I can hear you asking,

"But, don't all spirit guides come from the same place?"

While there is a realm where spirit guides congregate, this doesn't mean they all exist at the same vibrational frequency. They vibrate at their own individual levels. Confused, yet? I know, my brain hurts, too. You really have to be open-minded when it comes to this type of information. Time for a break!

In my next post, I will go more into depth about high vibration versus low vibration and why the latter isn't as bad as we make it out to be.
